The introduction of any new technology, particularly one that is as cutting-edge as Nissan’s e-POWER poses certain communication challenges. After all, this is a breakthrough technology that changes how cars are powered.
The goal of the Apa-e? campaign is to increase awareness and understanding of e-POWER by highlighting its attributes, USPs and benefits, leading up to the eventual launch of the All-New Nissan Serena e-POWER – the second e-POWER model to be introduced in Malaysia after the Nissan Kicks e-POWER in December 2024.
“We initiated the latest Apa-e? campaign to further engage the public through our social media platforms and radio stations with a tune and video that’s fun, energetic and relatable to all Malaysians. It reflects on what e-POWER is at its core – an innovative technology that’s affordable, fuel-saving and makes driving fun again,” said Christopher Tan, Executive Vice President of Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd.
Catch the Apa-e? video from 7th January 2026 onwards on Nissan Malaysia’s Youtube, Facebook, X and TikTok channels, as well as the Apa-e? radio commercial on ERA, Hitz, Lite, Hot FM and MY radio stations.
All about Nissan e-POWER
Nissan e-POWER is a drive system that’s 100% electric motor-driven. It utilises a dedicated petrol engine to only generate energy to charge its Li-ion battery pack and to power the electric motor when required. This unique drive technology offers instant torque and responsive performance just like an EV, but without range anxiety and the need to plug in and charge. Compared to an ICE-powered vehicle, the e-POWER system has lower tailpipe emissions and running costs, it utilises regenerative braking to reclaim energy and even offers the convenience of single-pedal driving which EVs are known for.
For deeper insights into e-POWER technology, come to Nissan Test Drive on weekends at selected Nissan showrooms. For more information on the All-New Nissan Serena e‑POWER, please visit https://nissan.com.my/v2/serena-e-power/comingsoon/ or call 1‑800-88-3838.
